A Letter From Our President

Dear Donors and Friends,

Greetings from Selangor Cheshire Home and Services!

The President and Council Members of Selangor Cheshire Home & Services thank you for everything you do to support our organization. We have been operating for the past 57 years taking care of Persons with Disabilities. Additionally we also provide skills training for youths with Learning Disabilities under the Economic Empowerment Program (EEP). After their six-month training they are emplaced in industries for jobs, thus enabling them to live an independent life.

The annual expenses for the above two programs come to One Million Ringgit which comes from public funding. However, the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic and the consequential economic downturn has shrunk our income from donations. We are apprehensive for the welfare of our residents and youths if this unparalleled crisis persists indefinitely.

As an organization that depends solely on the goodwill of the public for our sustainability, we would be grateful if you could support our initiatives by sending us a donation, whether big or small, to help us to serve the marginalized and less fortunate in our society. It is through the assistance and support from people like you that we are able to provide quality care and services to these groups of disadvantaged people in our community.

All donations above RM50.00 are tax exempted. You are also welcome to visit our Home after the CMCO is lifted to see for yourselves the services we render to the disabled.

Your donation will make a big difference in the lives of the disabled at our Home, enabling them to live a simple but meaningful life.

Thank you for your support.

Yours sincerely,

SELANGOR CHESHIRE HOME AND SERVICES
